Here it is, the newest of the new, hot off the presses from
Ibis, the
Tranny. This bike is truly a one of a kind design. You single-speeders out there will really appreciate this... The rear triangle moves on a sliding joint behind the bb to adjust the chain tension. No horizontal drop outs, so no problems with disc brakes. No eccentric hub or bottom bracket, so no extra weight! Plus the frame is 100% sweet riding carbon! This particular ride belongs to Kyle Shatterly. He's got it built up with White Industries hubs and cranks, Stan's wheels and a Fox Terralogic fork. He's just waiting for a gap in the rain to get his slick new machine onto the trail!
(For those that like gears, this bike is perfectly happy built up with a standard front triple and rear cassette.)
